A no-carbohydrate diet (no-carb diet, zero carb diet) excludes nutritionary consumption of most carbohydrates (including soluble fiber) and advises fat as the key way to obtain energy with sufficient health proteins. A no-carbohydrate diet may be ketogenic, this means it causes your body to get into circumstances of ketosis, converting fat molecules and surplus fat into ketone bodies which are being used to fuel areas of the body that not oxidize excessive fat for energy, especially the mind. Some organs and elements of the mind still require sugar, which is securely controlled by the liver and properly given by gluconeogenesis or by converting glycerol from the break down of triglycerides. A no-carbohydrate diet might use mainly canine source foods and could add a high saturated unwanted fat intake, though this isn’t prescriptive of the dietary plan, which, by definition, only restricts carbohydrate consumption.
